Auto clothes washing machine question?

Does the temperature change when you spin the temp indicator while is working ?

I mean, I am wondering if without selecting stop and change the temp, I can change the temp if it do it meanwhile is washing.

What's your experience? I don't have a light indicator that I can check if the temperature changes.

Thanks in advance!Auto clothes washing machine question?
the previous answerer is half correct. There are all-in-one model washer/dryers that just use cold water run through an inline water heater within the machine. They are common in Europe where space and cost is at a premium and hot water outlets for washing machines were not thought of in 1893 when the apartment was built.

Adjusting the temperatures on these machines will have the same effect. If the washing machine has already filled, the only thing you'll be able to adjust is the rinse temperature.Auto clothes washing machine question?
If its a top loader, you can just test the water with your hand while it is coming in. http://appliancequickfix.com/ has some good information on washers.
You can change the water temp. any time you want. If it is an electronic touch control model, you have to program it in before you press the start button.
If you mean after the machine has finished filling and begins agitation, then no. Washers do not have water heaters like a dishwasher does, so they vary the wash temperature by mixing hot and cold water. So once it is full, you can't change it without draining and starting over. If you start it then immediately realize you wanted hot instead of cold or vice versa, you can usually change it (depending on the washer - electronic pushbutton models are less likely to allow in-cycle changes) but you will wind up with water that is warm either way.
